Heating System Power Flushing
Remove sludge, rust and debris from your central heating system. Restore efficiency, improve heat output and extend the life of your boiler.
What is Power Flushing?
Over time, your central heating system accumulates sludge, rust and limescale. This debris settles in radiators and pipework, reducing efficiency and causing cold spots. Power flushing uses specialised equipment to force water and cleaning chemicals through your system at high velocity, dislodging and removing all the built-up debris.
The difference is dramatic - you can see in our photos just how much sludge comes out of a typical system. That brown, murky water is what's been circulating through your radiators, blocking heat transfer and making your boiler work harder than it needs to.

Signs You Need a Power Flush
Not sure if your system needs flushing? Here are the common warning signs:
Cold Spots on Radiators
Radiators that are cold at the bottom but hot at the top indicate sludge build-up
Noisy Boiler or Pipes
Banging, gurgling or kettling sounds from your heating system
Slow Heating
System takes a long time to warm up or doesn't reach temperature
Frequent Bleeding
Radiators need bleeding regularly or water is discoloured
High Energy Bills
Heating costs increasing despite same usage patterns
New Boiler Installation
Power flushing is recommended before installing a new boiler to protect the warranty
